Primary Teacher – Wakefield

Pay: £130–£160 per day
Location: Wakefield, WF10
Contract: Full time/Part-time

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the WF10 area who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment that places children at the heart of everything they do and values high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

  • Create a positive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Requirements:

  • QTS (or equivalent)
  • UK primary classroom experience
  • Strong behaviour management and adaptability
  • Adaptable, confident, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
