Primary Teacher – Full-Time, Part-Time & Supply Roles

Location: Southampton
Start Date: ASAP

Primary schools across Southampton are currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join their teams for full-time, part-time, and day-to-day supply roles, with immediate starts available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated teachers looking for flexible work or a longer-term position within supportive and welcoming school environments.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary age range
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • A passion for teaching and supporting pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
