Primary Teaching Assistant – September Start
Mainstream Primary & SEND Schools across Sheffield & Rotherham
Full & Part-Time Roles | Start: September 2025
Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities | £90–£110 per day (DOE)
Looking to secure a Teaching Assistant role for the new academic year?
Teaching Personnel is working with a wide range of mainstream primary schools and specialist SEND settings across Sheffield and Rotherham to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants for September starts. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, tailored to your experience and preferences.
Your Role Will Involve:

Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, or across the classroom

Helping children with their learning, behaviour, and social development
-
Adapting support to meet a variety of individual needs, including SEND
-
Collaborating with teachers and wider school teams
We’re Looking For:
-
Experience working with primary-aged children (in school or similar settings)
-
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
SEND experience is welcome, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
