Position Type: Flexible Working Hours (2-3 Days a Week Minimum)

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic class teachers for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). This is an exciting opportunity to work across various schools in the Penzance – Camborne area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons and support student learning in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Plan and prepare student work for pre-booked and long-term assignments.
- Mark students’ work and provide constructive feedback at the end of each day.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure a positive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with students to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Communicate progress with the headteacher, SENCO, and parents when working on a long-term basis.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) for EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Strong relationship-building and behavior management skills.
- Confidence in adapting to different classroom settings.
- Reliability and enthusiasm, particularly during peak supply periods after February half term.
Working Hours:
- Arrival: 8:30 AM
- Departure: 3:30 PM

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
