Full-Time Supply Teacher – September Start

Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity this September? We are currently seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time basis.


The Role

  • Position: Full-Time Supply Teacher
  • Start Date: September
  • Contract: Long-term temporary (with potential to become permanent)
  • Pay Rate: £120 – £232.56 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stage: Primary (specific year group to be discussed)

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.

Please note: the class includes pupils with SEN needs, however you will be supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant.


‍ Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs, including SEN
  • Work collaboratively with classroom support staff, including TAs
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
  • Uphold school policies and behaviour expectations

✅ Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and FQTs welcome to apply
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate learning effectively
  • Experience or confidence in supporting pupils with SEN (desirable)
  • Flexible, proactive, and committed to raising pupil attainment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
