KS2 Teacher

Location: WF13–WF17 and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible – Long‑term, short‑term, and temp‑to‑perm opportunities
Start Date: Immediate or upcoming

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of partner Primary Schools across Heckmondwike, Batley and Dewsbury, and we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teachers to support ongoing staffing needs.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or an ECT looking to build confidence across different settings, we have a range of roles available to suit your experience and work preferences.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher working with our partner schools, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across KS2
  • Follow school planning or create your own where needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
  • Support children’s academic progress and wellbeing
  • Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
  • Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and follow school policies

Essential Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within UK Primary Schools (KS2 preferred)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A positive, adaptable and professional approach
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • The legal right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
