Primary Cover Teacher (KS1 & KS2)
Location: Camborne, TR14
Salary: £120–£150 per day
Contract Type: Temporary (potential for long-term opportunities)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is looking for a flexible and confident Primary Cover Teacher to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Camborne (TR14). The successful candidate will deliver prepared lessons, maintain positive classroom behaviour, and support pupils’ learning across a range of year groups.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want to build experience across the full primary age range.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Maintain an engaging and well-managed classroom environment
- Follow pre-planned lessons and adapt teaching where necessary
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Provide short-term and occasional longer-term cover across the school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident teaching both KS1 and KS2
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
