About the Role

Teaching Personnel is looking for a flexible and confident Primary Cover Teacher to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Camborne (TR14). The successful candidate will deliver prepared lessons, maintain positive classroom behaviour, and support pupils’ learning across a range of year groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want to build experience across the full primary age range.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Maintain an engaging and well-managed classroom environment
• Follow pre-planned lessons and adapt teaching where necessary
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
• Provide short-term and occasional longer-term cover across the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident teaching both KS1 and KS2
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
