Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (S35 & S6)
Location: Sheffield (S35 & S6 Postcodes)
Contract Type: Flexible Supply
Working Hours: Between 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Start Date: September
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools. Roles may include general classroom support or working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexibility, variety, and valuable classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils’ learning and development under the direction of the class teacher.

Assist with classroom management and the delivery of learning activities.

Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Support pupils with additional needs as required.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience working in a primary school setting (desirable).
-
Relevant TA qualification or willingness to undertake training.
-
A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
