Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (S35 & S6)

Location: Sheffield (S35 & S6 Postcodes)
Contract Type: Flexible Supply
Working Hours: Between 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Start Date: September
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools. Roles may include general classroom support or working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexibility, variety, and valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils’ learning and development under the direction of the class teacher.

• Assist with classroom management and the delivery of learning activities.

• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Support pupils with additional needs as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting (desirable).

• Relevant TA qualification or willingness to undertake training.

• A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
