Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible Supply
Start Date: September 2026

We offer a range of opportunities across mainstream primary schools and specialist SEND provisions, including day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements.
The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning.
- Provide additional support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and classroom environments.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Experienced in working with children or young people (school experience is desirable).
- Positive, patient and enthusiastic.
- Confident communicators who enjoy working as part of a team.
- Flexible and able to adapt to different school settings.
- Available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm on their chosen working days.
- In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
