Teaching Personnel are working with a range of friendly, inclusive primary schools across the St Austell area, offering regular supply opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The Role – Day‑to‑Day Primary Supply Teacher

As a supply teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Create a calm, positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and learning needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Uphold strong standards of behaviour, safeguarding and professionalism

Short‑term supply typically involves no planning or marking, while longer‑term placements may include this with increased pay rates.

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Are confident teaching at least one primary key stage

  • Are committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

ECTs are very welcome to apply — supply can be an excellent way to gain confidence and experience in different school settings.
