Primary Supply Teacher

Job description

As the leading education supply agency, Teaching Personnel recruit primary teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), key stage 1 (KS1) and key stage 2 (KS2). We are looking for Primary Trained Teachers who are looking for flexible teaching roles on a daily supply basis to start in schools as soon as they return. Roles can be on a day to day, short term, part time or full time basis. You choose the days that suit you! 

We are currently in partnership with a number of schools in Harrogate and surrounding areas. All schools are easily accessible via public transport and/or have a car park for those who drive.

As a supply teacher you will be required to cover in class and deliver pre-planned work to pupils of a primary age range. You must be able to adapt to different settings and build raport quickly with children. Many of our supply positions turn into continuity roles within school or even a permenant contract.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • NQT
  • Experience working as a teacher in the UK
  • UK eligibility to work
  • Up to date professional childcare related references (within the last 6 years)
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
