Primary School Supply Teacher

Location: Washington and surrounding areas

Hours: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Minimum availability: 2 days per week

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in and around the Washington area. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate and adaptable teachers looking for flexible work across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Full-time supply work is available for teachers who are flexible with year groups and school settings, though part-time availability is also welcomed.

Access to your own vehicle is desirable, as you may be required to travel to a variety of schools within the local area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Follow school policies and adapt quickly to different school settings
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Implement lesson plans left by the class teacher, or confidently adapt where required
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Provide feedback to schools at the end of each placement

Key Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)
• Flexibility and confidence working across different year groups
• Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive, proactive and professional attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Access to your own vehicle (desirable)
