Primary School Supply Teacher
Location: Washington and surrounding areas
Start: Ongoing
Hours: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
Minimum availability: 2 days per week
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in and around the Washington area. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate and adaptable teachers looking for flexible work across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Full-time supply work is available for teachers who are flexible with year groups and school settings, though part-time availability is also welcomed.
Access to your own vehicle is desirable, as you may be required to travel to a variety of schools within the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Follow school policies and adapt quickly to different school settings
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Implement lesson plans left by the class teacher, or confidently adapt where required
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
- Provide feedback to schools at the end of each placement
Key Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)
- Flexibility and confidence working across different year groups
- Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive, proactive and professional attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Access to your own vehicle (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
