Primary Supply Teacher

£140 - 180 per day

Job description

Supply Teacher – Catholic Primary Schools (Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, Mansfield)

If you enjoy being in the classroom but don’t necessarily want everything that comes with a full-time role, this could be a good fit.

I’m working with schools within the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust across Mansfield who regularly need reliable supply teachers. It’s a mix of day-to-day cover and short-term placements, with the option of something longer if it suits you, but there’s no pressure to commit to anything you don’t want.

The trust itself has a strong reputation locally. The schools are well organised, with clear routines in place and a real sense of community. Staff teams are usually tight-knit, and there’s a consistent approach across schools, which makes a difference when you’re moving between them on supply.

On a typical day, you’ll be covering a class where work is already set. Expectations are clear, behaviour is generally settled, and there are experienced staff around if you need a quick steer.

Start Date: Flexible

Pay: £140 - £180 Per Day

Location: NG18, NG18, NG20, NG22, NG24

This tends to suit teachers who:

  • Want flexibility around when and where they work
  • Enjoy the variety of different classrooms without the long-term pressure
  • Prefer focusing on teaching rather than planning, meetings, and admin
  • Are confident adapting to different year groups

You don’t need to be Catholic, but you should be comfortable working in a faith-based setting and respecting the ethos of the schools.

In return, you can expect a steady flow of work, the chance to build familiarity with a group of schools (rather than constantly starting from scratch), and a straightforward approach, clear communication, no overselling.

If you’re open to supply, even just to see how it fits around your week, drop me a message or give me a call and we can have a quick, informal chat.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
