The Primary team at Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistant to work in one of our schools based in Darlington. This role would involve supporting generally in a classroom with other members of staff, provisionally supporting children who have additional needs but also involves general TA work, working alongside the class teacher. This role is set to start in January full time until July 2025.

JOB ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and develop resources if necessary
• Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Supporting these pupils with the full National Curriculum to all ranges
• Supporting the class teacher across the whole class when required
• Show dedication to the role and commitment for 6 months
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Level 2 TA qualification or above
• Have knowledge or experience working with children with SEN
• Desirable to have an individual with a caring nature
• A valid DBS on the update service (Can apply if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
