Teaching Assistant Role
As a Teaching Assistant working through Teaching Personnel, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment supporting children acamdemically and personally. Roles may vary from general classroom support to 1:1 support for pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs).
Salary: £89.38 Per day
Location: Neath/Port Talbot
Hours of work: Term-time, Full time OR Part time
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant

Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Provide 1:1 or small group interventions
-
Assist pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)

Help manage behaviour in line with school policies

Prepare learning resources and classroom materials

Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
What We’re Looking For in a Teaching Assistant
-
Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, care, coaching, personal experience etc.)
-
A positive, proactive, and patient approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
- DBS (Or willingness to apply)

GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
