The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve their best. You will provide classroom support, deliver interventions to small groups and individual pupils, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment where all children can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils across the primary curriculum.
- Work with small groups and individual children to reinforce learning.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
- Support children with varying abilities and additional needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
- Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved.
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
