Job Title: Key Stage 2 Primary School Teacher

Location: Holmes Chapel, Cheshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 3-Month Fixed Term


About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Holmes Chapel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT to make a real impact during the spring term.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to the overall ethos of the school.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Contract Details

  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
