✨ Job Opportunity: School Premises Officer – Croydon ✨
Are you a motivated, reliable and hands-on individual looking for a rewarding role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting a School Premises Officer to join a fantastic school in Croydon, supporting their Premises Team to maintain a safe, clean and well-presented learning environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical maintenance skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a committed team.
About the Role
As the School Premises Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school site—including buildings, grounds, furniture and fittings—is maintained to a consistently high standard. You will support day-to-day operations, contribute to site safety, and help create an environment where pupils and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out basic repairs, maintenance and redecoration across the school

Support with site security, including opening/locking the premises
-
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and site presentation
-
Assist with moving furniture and setting up rooms

Monitor the condition of buildings and grounds, reporting and addressing issues promptly

Work closely with the Premises Team to ensure all health & safety standards are met

Provide general caretaking support as needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
