Job description

PPA Teacher – Preston

The Head Teacher and governing body of a reputable Primary School located in Preston are on the look out for an experienced and dynamic Primary Teacher to cover PPA across five classes in school plus an intervention responsibility. This successful applicant will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays covering Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5. The additional half day will be teaching a small group of pupils in Y5 closing gaps in learning in Maths.

This a reputable and over-subscribed Primary School located in the outskirts of Chorley. The Head Teacher is well respected and well known within the local community and staff turnover is very low. This role has cropped up due to the permanent postholder relocating out of the area, therefore could be a temp-perm opportunity! Therefore, this role would be well suited to an experienced Teacher who is actively seeking a part time teaching responsibility within a warm and welcoming school environment boasting excellent resources. Behaviour in school is GOOD however the successful applicant would be expected to have excellent behaviour management and follow the whole school behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
