Location: Stockport
Pay: £150 - £190 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Supply) – Long-term options available

Are you a qualified Performing Arts Teacher with a passion for drama, music, and creative expression? Teaching Personnel are recruiting for secondary schools in the Stockport area seeking a Performing Arts Teacher for a supply position. As a supply teacher, you’ll focus on teaching and motivating students without the additional responsibilities of a permanent role. You’ll be expected to adapt quickly to the school environment and maintain high standards in both practical and theoretical performing arts lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Performing Arts lessons across KS3 and KS4, including drama, music, and theatre studies.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Follow provided lesson plans and school policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the Performing Arts curriculum.
- Previous experience teaching Performing Arts in a secondary school setting.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
