We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Yeovil, Somerset, seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational teacher who is committed to promoting physical education, health, and wellbeing while helping students achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to develop a lifelong interest in sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Contribute to the school's extra-curricular sports programme.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring excellent outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for sport and physical education.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire young people of all abilities.
