Teaching Personnel are working with a number of partner secondary schools in the Teignmouth Area to recruit a PE Teacher to work across different school settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for ECT, Experienced Teachers, or PE specialists seeking flexible supply or long term roles  within supportive school environments.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles

• Adapt to different school settings and follow pre-planned lessons where required

• Maintain strong behaviour management and ensure pupil safety

• Contribute to extracurricular sport and school fixtures when appropriate

• Supportive leadership teams and established PE departments

• Good sports facilities and outdoor spaces

• Clear behaviour policies and strong safeguarding practices

• Located across Newton Abbot and surrounding areas

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified PE Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for sport and physical education

• Confident delivering lessons in different school environments

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
