Location: Swansea
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 Monday to Friday
Salary: £172.98 per day
About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and energised PE teacher to fill a place in one of our Secondary Schools in Swansea, the school has results well above the national average and has outstanding facilities. The PE department is dedicated to delivering high quality lessons to keep the students engaged and passionate about developing their ability. A successful candidate will have specialisms in netball, girl’s football and girl’s rugby.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive lessons for students of all abilities.
- Plan engaging lessons that help develop students’ physical ability, fitness and understanding of health.
- Organise extracurricular activities (after school clubs/sports, coach sports teams and prepare for competitions).
- Promote a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and first aid protocols.
Requirements
- NQT or FQT.
- Enhanced DBS (or able to obtain one).
- EWC registration.
- Safeguarding (we do offer a course).
- 24 months of references.
- Experience teaching at Secondary level.
- Driving license.
- Play some form of sports (preferred).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
