PE Teacher – Exeter
Full-Time | Immediate or September Start | Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a dynamic secondary school in the Exeter area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a passion for sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.

The role:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum, including both practical and theoretical elements
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Support extracurricular activities such as school teams and clubs
  • Monitor and assess student progress

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
  • Have experience teaching PE at secondary level
  • Be confident delivering a range of sports and activities
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be energetic, motivated, and passionate about physical education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
