PE Teacher – Exeter
Full-Time | Immediate or September Start | Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a dynamic secondary school in the Exeter area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a passion for sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.
The role:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum, including both practical and theoretical elements
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Support extracurricular activities such as school teams and clubs
- Monitor and assess student progress
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching PE at secondary level
- Be confident delivering a range of sports and activities
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be energetic, motivated, and passionate about physical education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
