Are you an energetic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? A highly respected secondary school in Dorchester is seeking to welcome a passionate PE specialist to their team, inspiring students to embrace sport and lead healthy, active lifestyles.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable)
  • Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude towards fitness and wellbeing
  • Support and contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and school teams
  • Encourage and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Is passionate about sport, education, and student development
  • Can inspire and engage learners in physical education
  • Is eager to play an active role in the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
