PE Teacher
Job description
The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-quality physical education lessons to students aged 11–16 (and/or 11–18). You’ll encourage students of all abilities to challenge themselves, develop resilience, and discover a lifelong love of physical activity.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Teach a broad range of activities (e.g. games, athletics, fitness, dance, outdoor education)

Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes toward health and wellbeing

Assess, track, and support student progress and achievement

Lead and contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events
-
Promote an inclusive environment where every student feels motivated and supported

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the wider school curriculum
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)

A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and youth development

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Energy, creativity, and a positive, can-do attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
