Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: WN4
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:25am – 12:00pm (15.1 hours per week)
We are working closely with a welcoming primary school in the WN4 area who are seeking a caring and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis, starting immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and who enjoys being part of a nurturing school community.
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
- Providing small group and 1:1 support where needed
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
- Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable)
- Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
