Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Fulwood. This part-time role involves supporting a Year 4 class for three days per week and would suit an individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide general classroom support and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The role also includes a 30-minute lunch duty each working day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroom.
• Providing general classroom support to the teacher and pupils.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 as required.
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high standards within the classroom.
• Assisting with lunchtime supervision and ensuring pupil wellbeing.
• Helping to create an inclusive, safe and productive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working within a primary school setting.
• Is confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.
• Can uphold high expectations of behaviour and classroom standards.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrates a nurturing and positive approach to supporting children.
