We are working with a fantastic SEN specialist school in Aylesbury that is looking for a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their supportive team from September!
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work within specialist education while supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour, communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who:
✅ Has previous experience working with children, young people or adults with SEN/SEND
✅ Is looking for a part-time role starting in September
✅ Is confident providing 1:1, small-group and classroom support
✅ Can support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and communication needs
✅ Is patient, resilient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships
✅ Is confident supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional development
✅ Is happy and willing to support with personal care, where required
✅ Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team
✅ Is open to a long-term or permanent opportunity
Location: Aylesbury
Start date: September
Hours: Part-time – days and hours to be discussed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
