Part-Time Role (Monday & Wednesday) | Immediate / Upcoming Start

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a secondary school in Wandsworth to recruit a qualified and experienced General Science Teacher for a part-time role (Mondays and Wednesdays).

This is a great opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher who is confident delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum and is looking for a flexible working pattern.

About the Role

  • Teaching General Science across KS3–KS4 (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)

  • Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Following school schemes of work and adapting lessons where required

  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities and encouraging strong engagement in Science

  • Working collaboratively with department staff to maintain high standards

  • Part-time role – Mondays & Wednesdays

  • Opportunity for short-term or ongoing placement

Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
✔️ Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
✔️ Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
✔️ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Ability to engage and motivate students in Science
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

⚠️ Please do not apply if you do not hold QTS or relevant UK teaching experience. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
