Part-Time Intervention Teacher (KS2) – Maths & English Focus
Primary School – Preston
3 Days per Week
£120 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to work across Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on raising attainment in Maths and English.

This part-time role (3 days per week) offers the opportunity to make a real impact through small group and targeted 1:1 support, helping pupils build confidence and close learning gaps.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Be confident in delivering engaging Maths and English sessions across KS2
  • Be adaptable, organised, and committed to pupil progress
  • Work well independently and as part of a team

We welcome applications from:

  • Experienced teachers looking for a flexible, part-time role
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) eager to gain valuable classroom experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
