Role Responsibilities
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that promote a love of reading, writing, and literacy skills.
- Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment that encourages independent learning and positive behaviour.
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of learners.
- Contribute to the wider school ethos through pastoral support and involvement in professional development.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this English Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level in the UK.
- Strong ability to differentiate instruction and support learners with Additional Learning Needs.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for English education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
