Part Time Teacher – Leyland

Temp to Perm starting after Easter | 0.6 Main Pay Scale | Primary School – KS1 Class

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Leyland is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Part Time KS1 Teacher to join their team after Easter. This temp‑to‑perm role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to delivering high‑quality, child‑centred learning.

The school has a strong reputation for its supportive culture, well‑structured curriculum and focus on developing the whole child. As the class teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing within a KS1 classroom, ensuring pupils receive a rich and engaging learning experience. You will be supported by experienced colleagues, access to excellent resources and a leadership team that prioritises staff wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised and able to create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident and motivated. A strong understanding of phonics, early literacy and numeracy development will be essential for success in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
