Primary Teachers – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Cambridgeshire

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Cambridgeshire to recruit fully qualified teachers seeking full-time and part-time roles.

We are supporting schools with both short-term and long-term staffing needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. These roles are ideal for teachers looking for consistent work, career progression, or the opportunity to secure a longer-term or permanent position within a school.

A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the range of school locations, but not essential.


The Role
As a Primary Teacher working through Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment

A Typical Day May Include

  • Planning and delivering lessons tailored to your class
  • Differentiating work to support pupils of varying abilities
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Marking work and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
  • Attending staff meetings or school briefings where required
  • Working closely with colleagues and support staff

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Recent and relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • A confident and adaptable teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
