Year 5 Class Teacher – Long-Term Role (Job Share)

 SP9 Area, Salisbury | September Start

Are you a passionate and committed ECT or qualified teacher looking to join a welcoming and supportive school community? We are excited to offer a long-term teaching opportunity in a Year 5 class starting September 2025, based in a well-regarded school in the SP9 area of Salisbury.

The Role:

  • Position: Year 5 Class Teacher (Job Share)
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Pupils: Average class size of 30
  • Contract: Long-term, 3 days a week.
  • Salary: Paid to scale (including planning and parents' evenings)

This is a job share opportunity working alongside an experienced and highly regarded colleague who knows the class and school well. You’ll benefit from collaborative planning, a strong support network, and a class full of eager learners.

Ideal Candidate:

  • An ECT or qualified teacher with a strong passion for KS2 learning
  • Confident, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons and contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Able to attend planning meetings and parents’ evenings (with additional pay in line with scale)

Interview & Trial:

All applicants will be required to attend an interview and a trial session to ensure a good fit for both you and the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
