Job description

We are working with a fantastic primary school in the BS3 area that is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part time.

This is a warm, welcoming school with a supportive staff team and a real community feel. The setting is collaborative and friendly, and the leadership team is committed to staff wellbeing and professional development. 

The role

- Part time EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Flexible days, hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
- Long term position with the potential to continue
- Providing 1:1 support for a child in Reception with additional needs
- Working primarily in the sensory room to support the child's development
- Helping to create a calm, safe and nurturing environment
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

About you

- Experience working with children, ideally in an early years or primary setting
- A nurturing, patient and caring approach
- Confident supporting children with additional needs
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to the child's needs
- Reliable, positive and committed to making a difference
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively

No formal TA qualification is required for this role, just the right attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young children.

Pay and benefits

- £92.66 per day (paid weekly)
- Long term, consistent placement in one setting
- Paid via PAYE (no umbrella company fees)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
