Nurture support

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic person to join a Good graded Primary School on the Wakefield from November 2020 or sooner if available, If you feel you have the skills to encourage, nurture and support towards young people aged 5-11 to achieve their full potential and continue their enjoyment of school, we welcome your application.

Due to the current circumstances, children are experiencing a large period of absence from school. For some children, this will mean little to no structure, continuously poor living conditions and limited social interaction with family and friends. Accordingly, returning to school and to the rules, routines and structure of a school day may be a struggle. With this in mind, the school aim to support their pupils with their transition back to school as much as possible. This will include working with children who require nurture support once schools re-open.

We are particularly interested In hearing from candidates with the follow backgrounds:

• Social care

• Support work

• Youth work

• SEN support

• Fostering and involvement with LAC

• Psychology

• Counselling

You will be expected to work with students predominantly on a small group or 1:1 basis as well as work with colleagues to share ideas on best practice. You will have the patients and resilience to support students with wider needs.
