Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Wythenshawe
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 an hour

The Role:
The School are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning experiences and help create a safe, stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering creative and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s learning and development through play and structured sessions.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to observations and assessments of children’s progress.
- Work closely with staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for pupils.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or Early Years setting.
- A warm, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification) are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
