Job Vacancy: Nursery Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Accrington
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Temporary (Initially until October half term, with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:20pm
Grade: TA2b
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Nursery team from September 2025.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of our youngest pupils, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
What we’re looking for:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or higher (this is essential)
-
A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for working with children
-
Experience of working in an Early Years setting (desirable)

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
You will be working closely with teaching staff to support children’s early learning and development, contributing to their social and emotional well-being, and helping to deliver a high standard of care and education.

This role is initially offered until October half term, but there may be the possibility of it being extended beyond this date.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
