Job description

Part-Time Nursery Teacher – Longsight

Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 12:00pm

September Start

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Part-Time Nursery Teacher to join a friendly and well-established nursery setting based in Longsight.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional looking for consistent morning hours within a supportive team environment.

About the Role

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring all children receive the best possible start to their learning journey.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am – 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Monitor and record children’s progress
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)

  • Previous nursery or early years experience
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A warm, patient, and nurturing nature
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
