We are currently recruiting Nursery Support Staff for a well-established nursery group with multiple sites across Cardiff. With several settings and ongoing demand, there are plenty of opportunities available, making this role ideal if you’re looking for regular full-time work, part-time hours, or ad hoc shifts that fit around other commitments. This flexibility also makes the role perfect for students or anyone seeking additional income. You will be working with children aged 0–5 years, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in warm, welcoming nursery environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting babies, toddlers, and preschool children with daily routines and learning activities
  • Encouraging communication, confidence, and emotional development
  • Assisting with personal care routines, including feeding and toileting where required
  • Supporting engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Working across multiple nursery sites, offering variety and experience
  • Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
