We are currently recruiting qualified Childcare Practitioners to join a warm, welcoming, and nurturing nursery in Bournemouth, where children's happiness, curiosity, and development are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

You will work with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children's learning, development, and independence through engaging activities
  • Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, and welfare at all times
  • Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team
  • Act as a positive role model for both children and colleagues

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
