Are you passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing young minds? A warm and welcoming primary school in Bath, is seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Nurse to join their team. If you have a Level 3 qualification in childcare and a love for supporting the development of young children, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Support the physical, emotional, and social development of children aged 0-5.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
  • Observe and assess each child’s development, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers, providing feedback on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally, a Level 3 qualification in childcare (such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.
  • A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
