Nursery Assistant – L3 Qualified
Location: BS35
Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time
Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join a warm and nurturing early years setting in the BS35 area. This exciting role is available on a part‑time or full‑time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate. You will be supporting young children with their early development, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every child can flourish.
This position provides the opportunity to play a vital role in children’s early learning, helping them develop key skills, build confidence, and explore the world around them through play.
About the Role:
• Supporting children aged 0–5 with their learning, development, and daily routines
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment
• Assisting with planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities
• Supporting children with personal care and promoting independence
• Working collaboratively with the nursery team to follow EYFS guidelines
• Providing consistent, nurturing support throughout the day
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to attain one)
• Has experience working within an early years or nursery environment
• Can build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Works well as part of a team and follows safeguarding procedures
• Is proactive, flexible, and passionate about early years education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
