The Role

You’ll work with pupils aged 5–16 who thrive with structure, consistency, and positive role models.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Delivering and adapting engaging lessons to meet diverse SEMH needs
  • Building strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation
  • Using behaviour and de-escalation strategies to create a calm, focused environment
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to re-engage learners
  • Collaborating with pastoral teams, SEN specialists, and behaviour mentors
  • Creating a safe, structured, and supportive classroom culture

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • A final-year teaching student or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
  • Motivated to develop behaviour and inclusion expertise
  • Available Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
  • Willing to obtain (or already hold) an Enhanced DBS
