Finishing your teacher training this year and looking for your first teaching role in September?

Teaching Personnel Plymouth is working with a range of supportive primary schools across Plymouth and the surrounding areas, offering opportunities for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) from September.

Whether you are looking to gain experience across different year groups, build confidence in the classroom, or secure a longer-term position, we can help you find opportunities that suit your preferences and career goals.

Supply teaching is a great way to develop your classroom practice, gain experience in a variety of school settings, and build relationships with local schools as you begin your teaching career.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Create positive and inclusive learning environments
• Support pupils' academic and personal development
• Adapt confidently to different school settings
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS completion
• Recent teaching placement experience within primary schools
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Positive, flexible and professional approach
• Passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
