Job Title: Teaching Assistant (KS1 & KS2) – Summer Term Opportunities
Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas
Pay: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join our team for the upcoming summer term, supporting a variety of primary schools across Newcastle. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to broaden their classroom experience while working in diverse school environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Assisting pupils with their learning, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapting to different school settings and teaching styles
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 and/or KS2
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different schools
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred, to access a wider range of schools)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
