Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for extension)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage creativity, participation, and musical development in students
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular music activities where appropriate
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for music and education
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- EWC registration (or willingness to register)
