Music Teacher – Secondary School (Caerphilly)

Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for extension)


About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage creativity, participation, and musical development in students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular music activities where appropriate

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A genuine passion for music and education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • EWC registration (or willingness to register)
