Geography Teacher

Our school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and talented Geography teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, covering a maternity leave starting in October 2023. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching and has a deep understanding of Geography, as well as the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

As a Geography teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students. You will be expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and encourages critical thinking. You will also be expected to collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Geography or a related subject, as well as a recognised teaching qualification. You should be able to demonstrate a strong subject knowledge and the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
