Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to work in a secondary school, with roles available starting after the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for flexible supply, long-term, or permanent positions.

The Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and musical development in students

  • Support extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school productions (desirable)

  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent (ECTs welcome)

  • Have experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting

  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and committed to student progress

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

  • Be adaptable, reliable, and professional

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
